The Segal Foundation is pleased to have participated in the dedication of a recent gift to the South Brunswick Public Library in South Brunswick, NJ.
George Segal lived and created his artwork in South Brunswick and was a member of the Library's Board of Trustees.

Mr. Segal used his brother-in-law and sister-in-law as models for the piece: the late David Kutliroff and Millicent Kutliroff. Mrs. Kutliroff appears with the Foundation Board at the dedication of Couple Against A Gray Brick Wall

Segal Gallery Opened at Montclair State University Montclair State University
April 5th, 2006:The George Segal Gallery at Montclair State University has opened. The 7,200 square foot Gallery is the only gallery space named for George Segal in the world.
The celebration included the special unveiling of Segal's famous Street Crossing, a gift from the George and Helen Segal Foundation that is permanently installed in the Alexander Kasser Theater Plaza.
Other 2007 gifts include Hand on Wrist , Feet and Hand on Thigh.

Jersey City Museum Millie, 1994 pastel on paper, gifted to the Jersey City Museum, 350 Montgomery Street, Jersey City, NJ.
Miami Art Museum
A black and white drawing Pierre was gifted to the Miami Museum in December 2005 in honor of the outstanding service of Museum Director, Suzanne Delehanty .
In February 2002 the foundation also gifted Abraham's Farewell to Ishmael to the Miami Museum.
The Butler Institute The Steelmakers gifted to the The Butler Institute.
California State University
in honor of the outstanding service of Museum Director Constance Glenn. Click here to view one of the pastels, Nude - Upside Down, given to California State University. Ms. Glenn retired in 2004.
Rutgers University, Zimmerli Museum The Pregnancy Series, gifted to the Zimmerli Museum in March 2003.
